Who is Israel-07

We are traveling tomorrow so I am posting today. As we continue this study, we will find numerous verses that all add clarity to this subject. Galatians is an example of this truth.

Galatians 3:26  For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. :27  For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 

We have already studied Jesus accusing the Jewish leaders for their disbelief in Him. Now we see who Jesus told them was their real father.

John 8:42  Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. :43  "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. 

:44  "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

All unbelievers are children of the devil. They are not God’s spiritual children and will not inherit His kingdom. Only those who repent and accept and acknowledge Jesus as their Lord, Savior, Redeemer, High Priest, and King are the children of God. Once within His family, all are equal before His cross.

:28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. :29  And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise. 

Their is only one Church, one body of believers, and one way to salvation and redemption. Abraham’s descendants aren’t within a physical family but a spiritual family. This is quite evident the more we study. John 14 is well worth repeating.

John14:6  Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. 

Salvation doesn’t come thru any one religious belief system, one denomination, baptism, Bible studies, church memberships, or any other of the many acts of service within a church. It is a personal act of redemption only thru a direct, personal relationship with Jesus.
